Mission:  SHPE is the Source for Quality Hispanic Engineers and Technical Talent

The society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Texas Bay Area Chapter (SHPE-TBAC) is the southeast Houston professional membership of the national SHPE organization.  The Texas Bay Area Chapter encompasses those who live and/or work in the region south east of Houston including the Clear Lake area.  If you are interested in joining, feel free to attend our next general meeting or apply for membership.

Our July general meeting will be on July 15th at 6:30 PM at the USA Auditorium in the USA building on 1150 Gemini.  

Take Bay Area Blvd. west past El Camino Real.  Turn right on Buccaneer Ln. and drive to the next block.  Go thru the intersection into the USA parking lot.  Pick up the intercom phone at the front entrance and let the attendant know you are coming to the SHPE meeting in the auditorium.

Jeanne Farias, Snr Recruiter for LA Recruitment USA Inc. will be giving a presentation of opportunities they have in the offshore industry for electrical and mechanical engineers.

Officer elections were held at the June meeting.
